Maelstrom is on Nightslayer for FRESH! We have been around since the original Classic launch back in August 2019. Our core has been consistent for over 5 years and we are looking to jump into fresh once again.

We are a semi-hardcore guild with goals of clearing all content efficiently on release then aim to speed run. Short list of our accomplishments over the years:

• Ended P1 with a 20 min MC clear in Fresh
• 35 min BWL speed clear
• Ally server 2nd 1:10 Naxx 40 speed clear in 2019
• Server 1st Kael'thas kill
• Week 1 clear of all content throughout Classic & TBC
• 47 minute SWP speed clear
• 53 minute Naxx25 speed clear

Server 10th Heroic Lich King kill. World 44th Ally kill.

Week 1 ICC 25man Progression: Cleared 11/12 HM, server 9th for progression week 1.

Week 1 TOGC 25man Progression: Cleared 5/5 HM in both raids, server 3rd for speed week 1.

Week 1 Ulduar 25man Progression: Completed HM Council, HM Thorim, HM Freya, HM Mimiron, HM Hodir, HM Vezax and 1 Light Yogg. All HM including Yogg 0 and Algalon cleared in subsequent weeks.

13/13 HM in P1 Cata, consistently clearing in 1 night and had top 30 NA speed clears for BWD

RAID TIMES Raid week consists of up to 6 hours / 2-night schedule: Tuesday & Thursday @ 9-12 EST.

MEMBER EXPECTATIONS

• All members are expected to act mature. Toxic behavior is never acceptable and will be met with possible termination from the guild.
• Drama or other disagreements are expected to be resolved privately and independently. If a satisfactory compromise cannot be achieved, approach leadership for assistance.
• Participate in guild Discord, it is our main way of communication, and it’s everyone’s own responsibility to check it frequently for any important information or announcements.
• We expect all raiders to have nearly perfect raid attendance and to be online at least 15 minutes prior to raid start with consumables, world buffs, proper gear enchants, required raid addons and a good attitude. With that said, we also understand that real life takes precedence and unexpected things can come up. If you can’t attend a raid, please let leadership know in advance.

RAID EXPECTATIONS

• Raid members will have to perform, accept constructive criticism, and show initiative in improving on any of their weaknesses.
• Raid members are expected to show up to raid with proper consumes and world buffs.
• Engineering is required.
• PTR participation is also required as needed. PTR will be used for preparing for the next phase or fine tuning speed running strategies.

LOOT

We use a loot council system where officers distribute loot to raiders based on attendance, size of upgrade, and performance inside/outside of raids. The goal is to put the raid in the best position to succeed for progression and speed while making this process as transparent and fair as possible.

We use RCLootCoucil addon to help us speed up the looting process and keep track of loot history. Trials are not eligible to bid on loot unless all other members have passed.
